Glenbrook South’s Caitlin Morrison has been The North Shore Weekend/DailyNorthShore.com Athlete of the Month for the West Zone.
The 6-foot-2 forward reached a milestone on Feb. 12 in a home win over Evanston High School. The Valparaiso University recruit tallied 20 points against the Wildkits to eclipse 1,000 points for her career. During her senior campaign with the Titans (25-6), Morrison averaged 15.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and earned Second Team all-state honors from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.
For her sensational efforts, Morrison will receive a special gift from @Properties.
