Schoenwetter, Part II is starting to take shape.
It was a turnaround season for Glenbrook South and second-year head coach Dave Schoenwetter.
After going 1-8 in 2016, the Titans got off to a good start and went on to make the Class 8A state playoffs. They ended up 5-5 after falling to Barrington in a postseason opener.
Schoenwetter, Part I was pretty good. Dave’s dad — Bob Schoenwetter — coached the Titans for 18 years and ended up with a 112-63 record.
So, the chase is … on.
